About Me

Creator, prime lyricist, concept inspiration, and financial backer. Currently 81. Not a musician. Have had many careers but music wasn't one of them. Corporate business, Advertising, Managing a Circus, Market research, Nightclub owner and manager, Hotel manager, Restaurateur, and, for my last 25 years, my own Interstate Transport business modeled around innovative solutions for major Resource Enterprises e.g. BHP Petroleum.

Since about age thirteen, I've written down my dreams and speculated about the Universe. And, in parallel with my academic achievements, studied mythology, diverse world religions, and all kinds of belief structures both cult, esoteric, and conventional. This helped form my view of the multi-dimensional worlds we all, in one way or another, inhabit. Whether we are conscious of this or not.

Concomitant with that was an unusually high level of, largely, inspirational writing. No! Not inspirational in the sense of "oh, I hear the voices of the angels". No way. None of that crap. I'd be mowing the lawns – now there's a very suburban activity – something would come into my head and, I'd have to stop and write it down, no matter what nonsense it may have been. I have literally thousands of A4 pages with fragments of all kinds. Mostly poems needing TLC to finish them and others professing to be songs.

My Musical Journey

The three verses sat there on my PC (which is full of fragments that Matt jokingly refers to as his MattCrap) until one day, pre Covid, it occurred to me the world around us had changed to the point where these lyrics were current and meaningful.

The Next Step: Through an audiophile friend, Bruce Simpson, who is also an accomplished bass guitarist, I learned of Danny Lopez, a talented guitarist and Musician.

Danny nursed me through my baby steps and translated my music ideas to actual music on his guitar. There were two critical steps after that.

Organising the choir which he did through his connections. My original concept was, the song was an anthem, and should be sung by a choir. More on that later.

Introducing me to his friend a producer who could also transcribe played music into its notated equivalent. Steven Hariss Groom Studio @gmail.com.au

Song Details

Lead singer: Evan Milosevic (Watch Here)

Mastering: Fascination Street Studios, Sweden

The Choir: It's a Melbourne based choir with thirty members which was too much for our needs so the Choir Master selected six males and six females which worked perfectly. You have, recorded on a cell phone, videos of them in action in the studio.
